Crawley Town 1-1 AFC Wimbledon

Sam Hatton spared Wimbledon's blushes in an uncompromising cup tie at Broadfield Road.

The Dons midfielder struck from long range just before half time to keep his club in the competition they famously won in 1988 during their previous incarnation.

Danny Forrest had given Crawley the lead early on, as the Dons struggled to impose their playing style on the game.

The best chance to decide the tie in the second half fell to Crawley, when Smith played Forrest in, but the goalscorer couldn't repeat the feat and now both side must replay at Kingsmeadow on Tuesday for the right to face Millwall at the New Den.
