Matthew Barnes-Homer's goal from a shot on the turn just after the interval was enough to claim three points from a lacklustre Dons team who had only lost previously to pacesetters Oxford at Kingsmeadow.

Alan Inns won the Man Of The Match accolade but the overall team performance was disappointing, and the away side could have increased their lead on more than one occasion.

A combination of poor finishing and the good form of Kiddy keeper Coleman prevented the Dons from at least notching a goal.

Terry Brown will have to go back to the drawing board after this result, where a win or at least a draw would have been anticipated.
