AFC Wimbledon V Shrewsbury at The Cherry Red Records Stadium : Match Preview
AFC Wimbledon will give late fitness tests to Jimmy Abdou and Liam Trotter before Saturday's League One fixture at home to Shrewsbury.
Owing to respective ankle and knee injuries, the midfielders missed Tuesday's 3-1 defeat by Brentford in the Carabao Cup.
Lyle Taylor returned from a calf problem against Brentford, and is expected to retain his place.
If Abdou and Trotter are ruled out, Tom Soares could yet come into contention for his first appearance of the season.
Shrewsbury are set to be without midfielder Bryn Morris, who also missed the midweek Carabao Cup defeat against Nottingham Forest due to a knee injury.
Morris was hurt during a pre-season friendly at Telford, and although he was fit enough to start last weekend's league opener against Northampton, the problem resurfaced and he now faces the prospect of surgery that could mean up to six weeks sidelined.
Despite seeing his team lose against Forest, Shrewsbury manager Paul Hurst was encouraged by the performance ahead of visiting Wimbledon.
And there could be a league debut for Niall Ennis this weekend after he impressed Hurst with his showing at the City Ground.
